Product Features

Ensure a seamless move to Cincinnati Bell Fioptics. TrueSwitch's simple 4-step process makes your switch to Fioptic Internet quick and easy. And TrueSwitch does all the work for you!

Copy

Your information stored on your local PC is copied immediately and information stored on the website of your old Internet Service Provider is copied by TrueSwitch's computers into your new account -- this usually takes less than an hour, but can take up to 24 hours.

This feature does not modify any of the information in your original account. All your information will remain at the old account unless you choose to delete it yourself, or you cancel your old account.

Notify

An email is sent to everyone listed in your address book telling them about your new email address. If you select the "Custom Switching" option when running the TrueSwitch Wizard software, you can personalize this email.

Forward

TrueSwitch will check your old email account for a period of 30 days and forward any emails received to your new account. You can then reply to your friends and business contacts notifying them of your new Fioptics email address -- and ignore the spammers -- they won't ever know your new email address!

For this feature to work correctly you must:

• Maintain your old Internet account
• Leave your user name and password at the old Internet Service Provider unchanged
• Ensure that your new email inbox isn't full

Cancel

TrueSwitch will help you cancel your old Internet account. Many Internet Service Providers require that you phone their customer service departments.

Some Internet Service Providers (for example, AOL) support cancellation requests via fax.

TrueSwitch from Cincinnati Bell can send you a form to print out and fax, or you can complete a form online and we will fax it on your behalf.

If you have selected email forwarding, we will send an email to remind you to cancel your old Internet account after 21 days.

Please note that you are responsible for canceling your old Internet account to avoid incurring any additional charges.
